It has come to my attention that certain members feel that there are too many officers.  While I'm not sure I agree, I'd like the guild to weigh in on the discussion.  The most popular, of what has been brought to me, suggestion is to create an elected officership from each class, where all the class members have an election every set period of time, a month or similar period.  If you have any other ideas or like the way things are right now, please comment here.

There has been some complaint as to language used in the guild.  As such, there is now an official guild language policy.  Adult content is to be reserved till after 8pm game time.  Guild members will be warned about this, but should I, or any of the Gold dragons feel this policy is being violated willfully or maliciously, removal will result.  There is to be no verbal harasment of any members.  You will get one warning, than removal.  If you feel the warning i...

An engineer dies and goes to heaven, presenting himself before St. Peter.  St. Peter looks in the great book and can't find the engineer, so he sends the engineer down to hell.  After a few days in Hell, the engineer decides to make some improvements, running water, flushing toilets, air conditioning, and stuff like that.

God eventually calls up the Devil, and says, "Devil, how are things down in Hell?"  Satan quickly responds that things are going great.  God is shocked...

Hey Brad, as you know, I've been around for awhile but my user rank says N/A.  Not that it really bothers me, but I was just curious why everyone else gets a ranking and I don't.

I've noticed a difference between modern democrats and modern republicans, and I'm of course speaking of the most vocal members of the party. Modern Democrats, beginning with Bill Clinton, will take the "good" ideas of the right, by which I mean those that are good for the moderate members of the country, and make them their own, I'm not saying Bill pioneered this, but he did learn valuable lessons from Ronald Reagan. Since Democrats are able to take the center they can point at the extremism...

I would just like to state my displeasure here for some people who have been using personal attacks in some attempt to bolster their own points. Though I agree with the political points that some of these people have made, the effectiveness of their attacks is severely limited by their use of personal attacks. Unfortunately, this is a political reality. Canidates use attack ads, and while they trigger a visceral response, the more educated members of the voting public don't like them.

I'm...

With the mayor of New Platz facing criminal charges for solemnizing a marriage without a license, ironically not a criminal charge about performing marriages for Gay couples, Multnomah County, Oregon, home to such metropolises as Portland has jumped on the bandwagon and begun issuing marriage licenses for gay couples.

The Democratic Governor of Oregon, along with the state Republican party have made disapproving noises, but strangely, the only thing they have actually done is asked for a leg...

I'm creating this post because I have difficulty understanding people's opposition to Gay marriage. I don't want this to become a gay or straight bashing blog so anyone who writes something mean will get deleted. If you have a considered opposition I would like to hear it. Thanks much

Someone asked me sometime ago how many American were dying in Afghanistan and regrettably I could only report that I couldn't find any info about it. Then, in a stunning flash of coincidence, I found that eight americans had died in Afghanistan Last Week
